The Colorado Child Care Association nine years ago endowed the Colorado Foundation for Child Care Excellence, a 501(c)3 charitable foundation providing grants to enhance services and programs benefiting the education and development of young children.
CFCCE funding has in recent years supported many worthwhile programs for children and child care educators. Literacy workshops for early childhood professionals have been presented throughout Colorado, including the Front Range, Western Slope, Glenwood Springs, Pueblo and Sterling. The Foundation has supported research projects to improve the quality of early childhood care and education, and provided scholarships to teachers to attend workshops, conferences and other continuing education opportunities.
