BIRTHPLACE: Austin, Tx, however I have lived in many places including Indiana, South America, and Kansas City prior to moving to CO in 1992.
FAMILY: Husband, Carl. Children: Sam (17); Shannen (30), Partner – Kristi;
Son – Trent, children – Jocelyn and Callie; Meghan (27) Husband – James, children – Anabelle and Killian; and Katie (25) Husband – Russell, children – Rylan and Maddox.
Four legged family – Rocky (Siberian Husky), Violet (Cocker Spaniel), and Bruno (Italian Siamese Cat).
INTERESTS: My passion is the field of early learning and the men and women who provide early learning to our youngest citizens. I am learning to take more time to sit and smell the flowers as I love to sit and watch the sun set over the Rocky Mountains in my double swing at my new ranch. In my younger days I have sewn quite a bit making quilts and sewing many of my girl’s dresses when they were younger. I always find time to write – none of which is published….yet.

GOAL FOR ECEA: To be THE organization in Colorado that supports, empowers and protects the interest of for-profit, non-profit and faith based private childcare owners allowing all children to have available to them the highest quality early learning possible.
VISION FOR CHILD CARE: Honor, respect, fun-filled learning… community united so every child has the opportunity to learn to his/her fullest potential.
